

Anne Winters Hopkins, 85, of Salisbury passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Salisbury she was the daughter of the late John C. Winters and Mary Tilghman Ford. Anne worked as a caseworker for the State of Maryland and was very active in the Ladies Group where she made many costumes as well as wrote skits until her retirement. She enjoyed her retirement and spent her remaining years with her loving family and enjoyed attending New Life Apostolic Church. She is survived by her children, Sandra L. Hopkins Crowley and her husband Jack of Bradenton, FL, Lloyd C. Hopkins III, and close friend Dana Malone of Eden and Mary L. Hopkins Spann and her husband David of Salisbury; granddaughters, Jennifer Lynn Crowley Travassos of London, England and Tanya Spann Olander of Saigon, Vietnam; great-grandchildren, Anya Rose Travassos, Jude Allen Travassos, Maxwell Olander; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John T. Winters. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Bishop Richard Lawson will officiate. Private Interment will be in Wicomico Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Anne to Coastal Hospice, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
