Bryan S. Scott, 55, of Salisbury passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake surrounded by family and loved ones. Born January 27, 1962 in Salisbury he was the son of the late Donald Powell and Betty Jean Scott of Shad Point.
He worked the early part of his life as a hotel manager at multiple properties and as a car salesman. In the more recent years, he worked as a property manager and assisted his family in their business endeavors as well. He assisted in multiple fundraisers for the American Cancer Society and Women Supporting Women. He had a huge passion to help any friend in need regardless of what he had going on. His enthusiasm and sharp wit would always open doors for new relationships with complete strangers and made an impression on anyone he ever met. He loved animals and was a final home for several rescued dogs. He enjoyed camping, landscaping and other things that improved and highlighted an ordinary item into something spectacular.
He is survived by his brother, Mike Scott with his wife and their two sons, Adam and Brandon; his brother, Pat Scott with his nieces, Myranda and Jourdan Bryant, Kimberly Leager and nephew, Michael Leager; and many cousins, two aunts, and hundreds of lifelong friends.
