Carolyn Rebecca DuPont, 77, of Salisbury passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at TidalHealth in Salisbury after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born June 29, 1945 she was the daughter of the late George H. and Dorothy O. DuPont. Carolyn was a 1963 graduate of Wicomico High School and enjoyed participating in the reunion committee. She worked as a manager for various retail stores but for the past 25 years had worked for Sam’s club in several different departments most recently as the front door greeter. She walked for Relay for Life every time she was able.
She is survived her sons, Robert E. Kellam, Jr. and Steven Scott Kellam and his wife Heather; grandchildren, Hannah N. Kellam, Olivia G. Kellam, Isabella N. Kellam, and Rosaleigh K. Kellam; great-grandchildren, Ayden, Amity, and Justyce; close friend of 35 years, Cynthia Molinaro; brothers, Thomas DuPont and wife Kathy, Ronald DuPont; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. Rev. Ernest Bailey will officiate. Interment will follow in Parsons Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday evening from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.
