Cheryl Lynn Rassmussen, 65, of Eden passed away Monday, August 5, 2024 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born October 11, 1958 she was the daughter of the late Ralph William and Irene Twine Jones. Cheryl was a loving mother, and grandmother who enjoyed going to yard sales, crabbing and fishing, bird watching and spending time with her friends.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Leslie Michael Rassmussen; son, Leslie Michael Rassmussen, II (Alisha); daughter, Kasey Banks; three grandchildren, Morgan, Noah, and Marleigh; sisters, Linda Pusey (Aubrey) and Peggy Humphreys (John); and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
