Darryl worked for 33 years for Delmarva Aluminum as a gutter installer, retiring in 2003. He enjoyed playing pool, riding his Harley, attending shooting matches, known as “turkey shoots,” in the area especially the American Legion Springhill Post 237 in Hebron.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Connie Jean Baker; daughter, Christy Rhodes; granddaughters, Lindsay Rhodes, Jessica Herd and her husband, Justin and two great-grandchildren, Bristol and Kaleb Herd; sister-in-law, Nancy Whalley; four siblings; and nieces and nephews.
Per his wishes a private family gathering will be held.
