

Diana Kate Parsons, 64, of Princess Anne passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born June 7, 1952 in Baltimore she was the daughter of the late John Armstrong and Doris Meredith. A 1970 graduate of Washington High School, Diana spent many years operating Eastern Shore Sports with her late husband Charles “Charlie” Parsons. She later worked as an assistant manager at Peebles Department Store and a teller at Hebron Savings Bank in Princess Anne. She was an avid Orioles and Ravens Fan and enjoyed traveling to games with her family. Her most favorite pass-time was by far spending time with her grandchildren and attending their functions. She is survived by her children, Jessica Lattimore Scott and her husband Michael and John “J.R.” Lattimore and his wife Amanda; stepson, Kevin Parsons and his wife Karen; grandchildren, Ethan and Eli Scott, and Alyssa and Andrew Lattimore; brothers, Allen Armstrong and his wife Deborah and Cosmos Giordano and his wife Nancy; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Charlie” Parsons in 2001; stepson, Chuck Parsons in 2014; and granddaughter, Emily Scott in 2003. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11AM at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Shawn Short will officiate. Interment will be held in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Diana to the National Kidney Foundation, 1301 York Rd. #404, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093.
