Born June 6, 1990 she was the daughter of Herman Purnell and the late Pamela Purnell.
Liz attended Mardela High School and later worked at the Fraternal Order Eagles in Salisbury as a bartender where she had been a member for many years. Beth had a beautiful voice and was passionate about her singing. Always willing to help anyone, no matter the task, she believed in others even when no one else did. She loved her family with all her heart.
She is survived by her father, Herman and his wife Charlotte; brother, Herman “Quint” L. Purnell, V; stepbrother, Brandon Pittman; two nephews, Kaden and Quint Purnell and Ace Pittman; her Soulmate, Samuel Hastings; aunts, Jane Brown, Maria Brittingham (Dean), Carnita Powell (Rob), Mattie Dryden; great-aunt, Jane Purnell.
In addition to her mother, Pamela, she was preceded in death by, grandparents, Herman L. Purnell, III and Elizabeth JoAnn Purnell and Frances Percifield, and uncle Robert Dryden.
A Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 25 at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Rev. Dean DeFino will officiate. Interment will follow in Parsons Cemetery.
