Jacqueline “Jackie” Anne Howard, 88, of Salisbury passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Manokin Manor in Princess Anne. Born January 1, 1933 in Laurel, DE she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mildred O’Neal.
Jackie previously attended Calvary Baptist and most recently attended Salisbury Baptist Temple. She cleaned house for Harriett Hammond since 1978.
She is survived by her three daughters, Brenda H. Kurtz of Westminster, MD, Patricia Howard Long of Salisbury, and Sandra Lee Howard Travis of Laurel, DE; two grandsons, John Dillon Travis and Jordan William Howard-Travis; great-grandson, Benjamin; brother, Byard O’Neal and his wife Darlene; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles “Charlie” W. Howard, Jr, brother, Fred O’Neal; sister, Grace Adams; and son-in-law Thomas Kurtz;.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Rev. Carlo Leto and Rev. Lou Bradley will officiate. Interment will follow in Parsons Cemetery.
