Patricia Bowes Ward, 90, of Salisbury passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at TidalHealth in Salisbury. Born July 23, 1932 in Washington DC she was the daughter of the late Lt. Col. Edward and Roselmer Bowes.
She graduated from Washington College in 1953 and was an avid golfer and bridge player. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
The matriarch of the family she is survived by a son, David Bowes Ward and his wife Susan; daughter, Melissa Ward Worden; grandchildren, Jason and Evan Ward and Jennings and Aidan Worden; and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Francis Ward, Jr. in 2008; son-in-law, Bob Worden; sister, Mary Carolene Wetzel and her husband Kenneth.
A private family graveside funeral service was held at Parsons Cemetery on N Division St in Salisbury.
