Terry Cooper Sr.

Terry Cooper, Sr. 64, of Willards died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born in Salisbury he was the son of Kathleen Cooper Timmons and the late Louis Cooper, Sr. Terry retired from the State Highway after 35 years of service. A member of AMSA for over 40 years, he enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with family. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Valarie Bratten Cooper; two sons, Terry “T.C.” Cooper, Jr. and Timmy Cooper and his wife Christy; grandchildren, Emma, Colten, and Madison; brother, Louis “Woody” Cooper, Jr. and his wife Sue; sisters, Lynn Donaway and Debbie Comegys and her husband Gary; father-in-law, William Bratten; two brothers-in-law, Bruce Bratten and Mark Bratten and his wife Priscilla; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Mumford and her husband Ron and Marilyn Geaglone and her husband Paul; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2PM at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. Rev. Danny Travers will officiate. Interment will follow in Pittsville Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday evening from 6PM- 8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Terry to ALS Association, 7507 Standish Place, Rockville, MD 20855.
