Terry L. Williams, age 71, of Salisbury was called home to be with the Lord Sunday, October 8, 2023 with his loving family by his side. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Frederick A. and Bettie A. Williams.
In his younger years, he loved music and playing the guitar; which was a love he passed on to his children. Terry was extremely proud of his service in the Marines. Following his service, he worked for many years as a mason and thoroughly enjoyed his work. During his children’s younger years he loved coaching their baseball and softball teams and never missed a game. He loved hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was very proud of his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Karen E. Williams; dear son Terry “TJ,” Williams, Jr., his loving daughter Jamie A. Williams-DiLegge; grandchildren, MaKayla M. DiLegge, Paige E. DiLegge, Jaden Michael and Tristan Wyatt Williams, siblings, Fred Williams, Dale Williams, Yolanda Williams, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Terry was preceded in death by his son, Jacob “Jake” Lee Williams, and brother, Wayne Williams.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Crossroads Church of God, 708 Sharps Point Rd, Fruitland, MD 21826 where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Pastor John Kalfayan will officiate the service.
