Nacido el 20 de abril de 1940, Alejandro vivió una vida llena de amor, alegría y dedicación a su familia. Le sobreviven su amada esposa de 38 años, Adela Maya; sus hijos April Chen, Alejandro Maya, Ricardo Maya y Guillermo Maya; Hijastro Orlando Zometa y sus hermanos Luis Maya, Leha Maya, Temo Maya y Judy Maya. Le precedieron en muerte sus padres, Luis Aguirre Maya y Octavia Salas.

Alejandro tenía un talento natural para la música: le encantaba tocar la guitarra y cantar, y solía alegrar a quienes lo rodeaban con una melodía o una broma. Alejandro Aguirre Maya, of Saltillo, Mexico, passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2025, at the age of 85.

Born on April 20, 1940, Alejandro lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Adela Maya; his children April Chen, Alejandro Maya, Ricardo Maya, and Guillermo Maya; step son Orlando Zometa and his siblings Luis Maya, Leha Maya, Temo Maya, and Judy Maya. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luis Aguirre Maya and Octavia Salas.

Alejandro had a natural talent for music—he loved playing the guitar and singing, often bringing joy to those around him with a tune or a joke. He was a true handyman, happiest when working with his hands, fixing things around the house, or finding and collecting meaningful items that told stories of his life and travels.

His warmth, humor, and dedication to family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
