Andres T. Villela

Andres T. Villela, beloved husband, father and grandfather entered rest on August 12, 2011, at the age of 83. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 3, 1928, to Manuel and Maria Villela. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Maria; brother, Manuel Villela; and daughter Olga R. Garcia. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lucia Villela; sisters, Ramona Gonzalez and Louisa Bernal; daughters, Maria Rodriguez and husband Joe, Rosa Diaz and husband Danny, Juanita Zamora and husband Ruben, and Jesusa Hall and husband Richard III; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, August, 16, 2011 and Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2011 for a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 4603 St. John’s Way, San Antonio, Texas.
