Angelina Garza

Angelina Garza, born on October 28, 1921, went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2012 at the age of 90, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Santos Garza and Teodosia Quintero de Garza, brother Santos Garza Jr, and grandson Santos M. Garza III. She was a live in nanny for many years. Angelina was a very compassionate and caring woman who for many years donated to many charities. She is survivied by her grandchildren; Mary A. Arocha, Leo Garza, Jr. and wife Terry, Dolores Flores and husband Bernie, Jr., Fernando Garza, Doris Morrow and husband Jeff, Felipe Lumbreras and wife Felicia, and numerous Great Grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. We extend our gratitude to Ms. Sandra Burns for all her many years of support and care of our grandmother. A special thanks to the staff at Odyssey Hospic for all thier compassion. Visitation will begin on Monday, February 20, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. We will depart the funeral home on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. for a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St Ann's Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
