

Arthur Cisneros, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, November 16, 2012, at the age of 82. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on March 26, 1930. Arthur was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church for 45 years and The Knights of Columbus Texas State Council 8436 and 4th DegreeAssembly 1102. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and Army National Guard and retired from Kelly AFB after 36 years. Arthur will always be remembered for the love and dedication he had for his family and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Richard A. Cisneros. Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lucille "Lulu" Cisneros; daughters, Sonya Cisneros (Dan) and Terry Cisneros Figueroa (Leo); grand-daughters, Marissa Figueroa (Carlos), Lesley Trevino, Jamie and Sarah Figueroa; great-grandsons, Gavin Ramos, Ari and Cruz Rodriguez; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family extends special thanks to VITAS Hospice, especially Elizabeth Sandoval and Bertha Guzman and Tina (la besina) who assisted and cared for Arthur at home. The family will receive friends at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 210 St. Ann St. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, from 2:00-4:30 pm with a Prayer Service to follow at 4:30 pm. A procession will depart the funeral home, Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N. Main, the following morning, Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 10:30 am for a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Christian Burial will follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II.
