Brigida Falcon Moreno

Brigida Falcón Moreno, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered rest on August 1, 2013, at the age of 105. She was born in Panama to Simon and Eduviges Falcón on July 4, 1908. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Josѐ Ruben Moreno; son, Luis A. Moreno. She is survived by sons: Joe R. Moreno, Jr., and wife Maria Elena, Nicholas R. Moreno and wife Sylvia, Carlos A. Moreno and wife Rosanna; daughter-in-law, Imelda Moreno; grandchildren: Kristina Y. Barnes and husband Ronnie, Celina Y. Moreno and husband Andres, Luis A. Moreno, II and wife Mariana, Analissa D. Moreno; great-granddaughter, Cecilia Prado. She will be remembered by her family for her strength, generosity and kind nature and will be greatly missed. We give special thanks to Carmen Navarro and family for their loving care for the last eight years. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers for a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2013 to celebrate a 9:00 a.m. Mass at St. Paul Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
