Celia P. Acevedo, 94, went to be with her Lord on January 24, 2018. She was born in Southon, TX to Cruz and Carolina Padilla on July 8, 1923. She is preceded in death by her husband: Ramiro Acevedo; son in law: Fred Carmona. She is survived by her children: Theresa Carmona, Olga A. De La Cruz (Rudy), Ramiro Acevedo Jr. (Lorraine), Elsa Hernandez (Rudy H.), and Henry Acevedo (Laura); 11 Grandchildren: Carlos, Michele (Dennis), Daniel, Nicholas (Stephanie), Arron, Michael, Ashley, Courtney, Madison, Ariel, Dario; 5 Great-Grandchildren: Milan, Hailey, Amilla, Johnathan, Dario. Visitation will be February 1, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Roy Akers with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will begin at 12 pm on February 2, 2018 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, with interment to follow at San Fernando II.
