Clara Olivarez entered into rest on September 13, 2015 at the age of 94. She was born on August 11, 1921 in Seguin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ynes and Rosita Herrera, and her husband; Lauro Olivarez. She is survived by her 3 sons, 5 daughters, brother; Ynes Herrera, 28 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Ave., from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2015 for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 1730 Dahlgreen. Interment will follow in San Jose Catholic Cemetery in Jourdanton, Texas.
