He was born in Kenedy, Texas to Alejandro Enriquez and Alvina (Solis). He enjoyed spending time on his front porch watching people go by and sharing stories with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother David Enriquez, and sister Celia Gerdes. He is survived by his wife, Josefina Sifuentes and children Alex Enriquez, Tony Enriquez, Jeannie Loredo, Sandie Leija, and Lisa Chavez; grandchildren Joshua Enriquez, Brittany Jonas, Ashley Enriquez, Sara Dowell, Emma Ybarra, Lauren Rich, Amanda Scecina, Jennifer Vega, Steven Loredo, Jamie Leija, Johnny Leija Jr., Emily Chavez; along with 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 10:00 am, with a graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow.
