Enrique Garcia

SGT Enrique Garcia, retiree of the United States Air Force, entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2016 at the age of 65. Enrique was born to Pablo and Trinidad Garcia on March 11, 1950, with whom he reunites with ; along with his son, Enrique Angel Garcia; and granddaughter, Jalyssa Marie Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Diana Garcia; children: Evelyn Denise Garcia, Philip Paul Garcia, Joshua Daniel Garcia,Yvette Marie Garcia (Jerry Rodriguez Jr); grandchildren: Madison Garcia, Elena Natalia Ramirez, Jayden Henry Rodriguez, Allyana Andrea Rodriguez; siblings: Joe Garcia, Yolanda Garces, Abel Garcia, Elma Garza, Irma Garcia, Angie Reyes; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Working as an Airframe Repair Specialist, Enrique was awarded the NDSM, AFM 900-3; AFGCM, AFM 900-3; AFOUA, AFM 900-3. He was a man who enjoyed traveling, especially when he had family along for the adventure. He was a provider who loved to bake and cook, especially chicken and BBQ. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. The family will be receiving guests at the funeral home on Thursday, March 03, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. to celebrate a 9:30 Mass of Resurrection at St Anthony Mary Claret Catholic Church, 6150 Roft Rd. Interment will follow in Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:15 a.m. with military honors.
