The hand of God touched her and gave her his peace. Her spirit now dwells with beloved husband Arthur E. Martinez of 49 years. They walk hand and hand with Jesus.
Linda was born March 25, 1933. She is preceded in death by her parents, Adolfo Gonzales and Felecidad Galan Gonzales; her sisters Isabel Gonzales, Ana Maria, and Carrie Ochoa; her beloved husband, Arthur E. Martinez; her son David Martinez; her daughters Mary Esther Beltran, Irene Martinez; her grandson Arthur Reynosa; her granddaughters Monica Ann Padgette, and Sabrina Reynosa; and her great grandson Alex David Navarro.
She leaves behind her son Arthur Martinez Jr.; her daughters Nora Martinez and Virginia Dykes; as well as 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 18 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N Main Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78205, on May 20, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a rosary beginning at 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1710 Clower, San Antonio, Texas 78201, on May 21, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by Graveside services at Wetmore Cemetery, 15041 Higgins Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78217.
