Ernest Muniz Jr.

Ernest Muniz, Jr. aka “Playboy” born on January 31, 1957 was called home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2012 at the age of 55. He leaves behind his loving parents; Ernest and Zulema Muniz; daughter, Monica J. Muniz and husband, Elias Gamez; son, Michael E. Muniz; grandchildren: Anthony, Alicia, Savannah, Jakob, Marissa, Samuel; siblings, Joe Alex Muniz, Ceasar Muniz, Margaret Skrehot, Rosemary Arriaga and husband Mario; nephews, Ernie Rodriguez and wife Rhonda, Matthew Arriaga, Tanner Skrehot; niece, Jennifer Gonzalez and husband Andres; great-nephew, Shawn Rodriguez; great-niece, Sofia Gonzalez; best friend, Princess. Ernest was a hard working, loving and caring person with a big heart. He was a wonderful and dedicated son, brother, father, grandfather and good friend to all that knew him. He never said no to anyone, always willing to help others in time of need. His children and grandchildren were his life! The family will receive friends at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., Friday, November 30, 2012 to celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Mass at the San Fernando Cathedral. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II. Pallbearers will be: Ceasar Muniz, Joe Alex Muniz, Michael Muniz, Ernie Rodriguez, Mario Arriago and Elias Gamez. Ernest you will be greatly missed by all, but we now have an Angel guiding and watching over us. God bless you always love your family.
