Esther Acosta, age 86, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, August 23, 2021. She was born on February 20, 1935 in Piedras Negras, Mexico to Santiago Dominguez and Natalia Macias.
All who knew her will remember her devotion to her faith. She made Christ the center of her life, and was always eager to share God's word with every opportunity she had. One of her greatest joys was teaching her grandchildren, and the neighborhood children about the Bible. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, and her generosity to those less fortunate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose G. Acosta; parents; and siblings, Juan Dominguez, Rogelio Dominguez, and Maria Cristina Esparza. She is survived by her daughters Elvia Palmer, Diane Velazquez, and Lillian Acosta; grandchildren David Palmer, Jeremy Palmer, Natalie Rodriguez, Ashley Lott, Zachery Lott, Brandon Lott, Bonnie Acosta, Austin Gray, Jacob Munoz; great-grandchildren Elijah Rodriguez, Levi Trejo, Ethan Rodriguez, Alfred Godley, Wyatt Zamora, Owen Lott, Eliza Palmer, Leonardo Lott, and one on the way (Nolan Zamora). She is also survived by a number of loving family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations be made to Destiny Church.
