Felix C. Moreno

Felix C. Moreno entered eternal rest on September 11, 2016 at the age of 95. A native of San Antonio, Texas, born to Wenselado and Vicenta Moreno on July 29, 1921; he reunites with his parents, son Fernando Moreno, daughter-in-law Alicia Moreno, and his 4 siblings. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Vicenta Moreno; children: Josefine (Raul) Trevino, Robert (Herminia) Moreno, Richard Moreno, Hector (Julia) Moreno;' step-son Ben Canales; step-daughter Josie (Rudy) Palacios; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Felix faithfully served his country in the Army and Air force during the WWII and Korean combat. He enjoyed watching war and western movies, listening to music and spending time with his family. He was dedicated to being a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and his love and presence will be missed dearly by all who knew him. The family will be receiving guests at the funeral home on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at San Fernando Cathedral. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
