June 28, 1933 – June 24, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Robert Wright, who left us peacefully on June 24, 2025, just four days shy of his 92nd birthday.
Gerald was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose warmth, curiosity, and quiet strength touched all who knew him. Born on June 28, 1933, he lived a long and full life marked by a deep love for family, a passion for craftsmanship, and a keen eye for detail.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Olga Wright, who stood faithfully by his side. Gerald leaves behind a large and loving family: his sons Robert Wright and Geralyn Wright; step-sons Pedro Vasquez III and Steve Vasquez; daughters Anita Brooks, Elizabeth Quinn, and Catherin Norwood; step-daughters Diane A. Vasquez and Aurora V. Loyo and numerous nieces and nephews. His legacy lives on in each of them, and in the many memories they share.
A man of many talents and interests, Gerald found joy in gardening, woodworking, working on automobiles, and collecting coins. He was happiest with his hands in the soil or at his workbench, always building, fixing, or discovering something new.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
