Mr. Harry Caldwell Willard, born to Owens Willard and Esther Caldwell in Lake Wales, Florida on August 8, 1933, entered eternal rest on September 29, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 81. Harry joined the Marine Corp. in 1952 and served as a Military Police Officer for 8 years. He went on to join the Air National Guard, serving for 3 years in 1965. Within the same year, Harry became one of the first Park Rangers in San Antonio, Texas. Later, he became a jailer for the prison system in Florida and Bexar County.
In 1956 Harry and Daisy wed. During their 58 years of marriage he was a Boy Scout teacher and Scout Master.
Harry was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1998, and has been battling the disease since. Those who knew him will remember him as a stern disciplinary man with a great sense of humor.
