Irma Garcia

Irma Garcia, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Irma deeply loved spending time with her six grandchildren. And she had a long list of interests; she loved to plan and organize events such as birthday parties and holiday parties; she also enjoyed working on creative crafts and DIY projects. Furthermore, she was an avid watcher of home improvement shows and often shared her learning with those around her. Prior to her retirement, she was a devoted nurse at Baptist and worked to improve the lives of her patients.

Irma will be united in heaven with her parents Francisco Nieto Sr., and Teresa A. Nieto.

Irma's memory will continue to live in the hearts of her children Rebecca Garcia, Elizabeth Rios, and Paul Garcia (Wife Angela Garcia); brother Francisco Nieto Jr. (Wife Clara Nieto); Grandchildren Alyson Rios, Penelope Garcia, Gabriel Gonzales, Phoebe Garcia, Evangeline Garcia, Elodie Garcia; and Dog Flaco Nieto (Chihuahua).

Irma will be missed dearly by those who knew her. As a beacon of love and creativity, Irma brought warmth and joy into every room she entered. Her family was her world and she was the heart of theirs. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and beautiful memories that will be cherished forever.
