Johnny Saenz went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2019 in Helotes, Texas.  He was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas on December 21, 1934 to his parents, Federico and Delfina Saenz.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Saenz; and his parents, Federico and Delfina.

He is survived by his daughter, Leticia Saenz; his daughter, Esther Field and husband Bob; his daughter, Diane Hierholzer and husband Derek; his daughter, Sonja Alvarez and husband David; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and his sister, Mercy Saenz.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 6th, 2019 from 2 PM to 9 PM at Roy Akers Funeral Home - 515 N. Main Ave. 78205 - with a Rosary to be recited at 7 PM. The public and family will reconvene on Thursday, February 7th at 11AM for a Funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Catholic Church - 210 Saint Ann 78201. Services will conclude after mass.
