Lanell Julia Torres

Lanell J. Torres went to be with the lord on January 9th 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband Alessio A. Torres, her parents Henry and Nell Toscano, brothers James, Henry (JR), Albert, Norman and sister Sharon. She is survived by sons Albert (Deborah), Mike (Belma), sisters Rita and Barbara, brothers Don (Adrian) and Charles, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was an LVN at Santa Rosa Hospital where she retired from nursing after 35 years. She loved taking care of the sick and those in need. She was also a member at San Fernando Cathedral Catholic Church where she was a docent for the Cathedral and also where she volunteered at the Health Fairs. She will be dearly missed, as she would say Besos! Special thanks to the team at The St. Luke’s Hospital Stroke Center and to her Provider Edna Aleman. Visitation will be held on Thursday January 19, 2017 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers Funeral Home from 5-9 pm, with a rosary at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 20, 2017 at San Fernando Cathedral at 10 am. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
