Lorelei Wilcox Deffenbaugh, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died March 24, at age 87. Lorelei was born October 10, 1925, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to John and Ella Wilcox. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Craig Wilcox and Jack Wilcox; and her husband of 61 years, Berman Eugene “Deffy” Deffenbaugh Jr. She is survived by her children, Edward Deffenbaugh and wife, Ellen, Danny Deffenbaugh and wife, Deborah, Lavella Siebenaler and husband, John, Carole Deffenbaugh, Douglas Deffenbaugh and wife, Lydia, Mary Deffenbaugh and Helen Scanlan and husband, Tom; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are as follows. Visitation, 6 p.m., Monday, April 1, followed by a rosary recited at 7 p.m., Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 600 Oblate Dr. A lying in state will be held beginning at 9 a.m., Tuesday, April 2, followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament.
