Manuela R. Manriquez

Manuela graduated from Kennedy High School and worked as a bank manager where she retired after 30 years. She loved to read mystery novels, collect Coca-Cola items and loved to tell jokes and listen to music.

She is preceded in death by her mother.

She is survived by her father; her loving husband of 44 years: Burt E. Manriquez; children: Olivia Manriquez and Michael Manriquez and his wife Sonia Ruiz; grandchildren: Serenity Gonzales, Anthony Gonzales and Olivia Gonzales, Michael Manriquez II, Myla Manriquez and Minaya Manriquez.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the visitation for Manuela at Roy Akers Funeral Home-515 North Main Ave. 78205- will be limited to 40 people in the building at a time. There will be a public visitation period on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, January 8, 2021, the procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 Funeral Mass at St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
