Maria M. Castillo, beloved mother, sister, and grandmother; passed away on June 29, 2015 at the age of 93. Born in Selma, TX. to Sixto and Juanita Murillo on May 30, 1922, she now reunites with her parents; husband, Isaac R. Castillo Sr.; son, Isaac Castillo Jr.; siblings: Benina Murillo, Catalina Murillo, Manuel Murillo, and Angelita Castillo. She is survived by her children: Jesse Castillo, Maria Alicia Ortiz, Manuel Armando Castillo; sister, Rosalio Murillo; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Vitas Hospice for their excellent care . Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Service will continue on Monday, June 6, 2015 with a 9:00 a.m. Chapel Service and interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
