She is survived by her children: Josefa Marez, Maribel Rios, Francisco Martinez, Ismael Martinez, Ramero Pecina and Juan Montoya; grandchildren: Amelia Espinoza, Mary Lou Espinoza, Maria Martinez, Gabriela Medellin, Rocio Rios, Aurora Rios, Manuel Macias, 21 other grandchildren; great-grandchildren: Victoria Espinoza, Gabriel McGarity, Mark Gamez, Ralph Martinez, Marissa Velasquez, Sebastian Martinez, Ian Velasquez, Natalie Medellin, Ciara Holguin, Daphney Holguin, Isabella Holguin, Janelle Macias 20 other great grandchildren.

Due to restrictions on public gathering, the visitation for Maria at Roy Akers Funeral Home-515 North Main Ave. 78205- will be limited to only 40 people in the building at a time. There will be a public visitation period on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. in accordance to the limitations
