Maria Nombrano Mann joined our Lord in Heaven on Saturday, November 26, 2016. She died at the age of 100 in the house that she was born in. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Antonia Nombrano; siblings Joe Nombrano, Luis Nombrano and Beatrice Hernandez; husband, John Mann; sons, Gilbert Mann, Joe William Mann Sr., and Michael Mann. She is survived by her daughter in-laws, Mary Mann, Janie Mann, Dottie Mann, former daughter in-law, Carmen De La Cruz, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Our beloved matriarch retired as a seamstress, then worked as a foster grandmother with handicapped children. She was a phenomenal cocinera who shared her wonderful recipes to pass down through generations. She blessed this earth for 100 years and the world is a better place because of her. Visitation will be from 4-9pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held at 10 am on Thursday, December 2, 2016 at St. Agnes Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
