Melvin Earl Meier Jr.

Melvin is preceded in death by his parents: Meivin Meier and Lotte Coffield ( Meier), step-father, Leland Coffield: brother John Carl Meier and sister Diane Ruth Gamez (Meier).

He is survived by his loving children: Brandy Ocana, Tara Grant (Weston), Knavarone Meier, and Leska Meier; grandchildren: Ezekiel, Penelope, Journey, Honor, Jayden, Tyler, Evelyn, Grace and Evvorone; brother Curtis Meier and sister Mary Miller (Lowell) aka Bob. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Melvin loved the outdoors, he was either bbqing or fishing in his spare time. He had a heart of gold and would help those who needed it when he could. Even when Melvin was sick he would still look at how he could help others. Melvin was a strong individual who fought till the end, wanting everyone to know he stayed strong. Melvin also enjoyed working on cars and heavy duty equipment which is also what he did in life.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The procession will depart at 1:30 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m graveside service at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Luncheon to follow services.
