

Patricia Karch Sinclair, February 6, 1932 - January 15, 2024, passed away peacefully from natural causes. Patricia was born in Crowder, Oklahoma, the youngest of seven children to Jesse and Cecil Catherine Karch.
She began her career in civil service in 1964 at the U.S. Naval Ammunition Depot in McAlester, Oklahoma and retired in 1987 as a GS13 Personnel Staffing Supervisor at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
After retiring, she found a second career with her lifelong friend Lou Ann Moody, teaching personnel management to military officers who supervised civilians.
Patricia earned a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from the University of Oklahoma in 1973 while working full-time and as a single mother. Receiving her college degree was one of her proudest moments.
In 1998, she left the workforce permanently to help raise her only grandchild.
Patricia was present at every volleyball game, pep squad competition, church recital, karate competition, birthday, and Christmas celebration. She was there to watch Lisa graduate as a Texas A&M Aggie and to see her wedding in 2017.
She was a loving mother, indulgent grandmother, and faithful friend to many.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Valerie Georgia (Gary), her granddaughter Lisa Hurrey (John), and many nieces, nephews, and their families.
A viewing for family and friends will be held at 10:00am followed by a memorial at 11:00am on Friday, January 26 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N Main Ave, San Antonio. The service will be live streamed through Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/FDARoyAkers
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway.
