Ricarda Torres Borjas

Ms. Borjas enjoyed cooking for her family, going to church, as well as going to the casino. She would never miss her favorite telenovelas and she considered Christmas her favorite holiday. Ricarda leaves behind her puppy "Chiquita." She deeply loved her Chiquita.

Ms. Borjas is preceded in death by her parents Magdaleno Torres and Camila Gonzalez; sister Marcela T. Castillo; husband Pedro L. Borjas; grandson Fernando Amezcua; amd son Silvestre T. Borjas.

She is survived by her children Nicolas, Fidel, Juan, Oscar, Hugo, Jose, Elena, Celia, Juana, and Olga; grandkids Liana, Marie Borjas, Camilla Momuth, Jackie Momuth, Oscar Javier Borjas and more grandkids and great grandkids.

Liana, Marie, Camilla, Jackie and Oscar deeply cared for their grandmother; they took care of her during Ricarda's final days.

She will be missed by those who knew her.

A visitation for Ricarda will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A rosary will occur Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3814 Nash Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78223. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Memorial Park & Crematory, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd, San Antonio, TX 78239.
