Rita J. Tapia

Rita Joe Tapia, 67, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2018. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Guadalupe Luis Tapia and Concepcion Fernandez on March 19, 1951. Rita loved sports, the Spurs and Cowboys being her favorites. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Fernando, Carlos, and David. She is survived by her sisters: Ana Tapia, Francis Rojas and Angelina Mann, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Roy Akers 515 N. Main Ave on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Thursday, April 19, 2018 the Funeral Procession will depart at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary 617 S. Santa Rosa, with interment to follow at San Fernando III.
