Robert R. Guajardo

Robert R. Guajardo, beloved husband, father and grandfather was received by our Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the age of 83. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to parents Hilario and Manuela Guajardo, on December 4, 1929. Robert, who worked as an electrician journeyman for the San Antonio ISD for 28 years, will always be remembered for the love and dedication he had for his family, and he will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers, Rudy, Ramiro and Roy Guajardo. Robert is survived by his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Josie Guajardo; daughters, Sylvia Castillo (Richard) and Debra Lang (John); grandchildren, Sabrina West (David), Monica Castillo (J.R.), Adam Castillo, Tim Raffety (Brittany), and Stephanie Raffety; great-granddaughter, Sophia West; brother, Raymond Guajardo; sisters, Elvira Holguin and Cecilia Guajardo; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at Genesis Hot Wells Bible Baptist Church, 301 Hot Wells Blvd., on Monday, January 14, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the church the following morning, Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior to the service.
