On Tuesday August 3, 2021, Rogelio Mata Cantu, loving husband, father and family man, passed away at the age of 74.

Rogelio was born on September 16, 1947 in San Antonio TX to Lorenzo and Dora Cantu. He graduated from Edgewood High School in 1965. He married Trinidad Perez.

Rogelio was a passionate cowboys fan and a man of humor. He enjoyed passing time with crossword puzzles and his dog, Buddy. More than anything he loved spending time with family, he looked forward to attending and dressing up for the monthly cousin luncheons. He was known for his warm sense of humor and jovial laugh.

Rogelio was preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo, his mother, Dora, his son, Roger and his wife, Trinidad. He is survived by his son, Raul, daughter-in-law Janet, grandson Evan, grandchildren Trinity and Roman, sisters Yolanda and Adela, and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday August 12, 2021.
