Rosa G. Diaz entered into eternal rest on June 10, 2016 at the age of 81. A native of San Antonio, Texas, she was born to Jose and Consuelo Guajardo on May 10, 1935. She reunites with her parents; husband of over 57 years of marriage, Jose De Jesus Diaz; grandson, Jacob Aguirre; 3 sisters; and 4 brothers. She is survived by her children: Marta Lourdes Aguirre (Jimmy), Gerardo Carlos Diaz (Staci), Jose Valentin Diaz (Norma); 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; and numerous other relatives. The family will be receiving guests at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers funeral home, 515 North Main Avenue, on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate at 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at San Fernando Cathedral, 115 Main Plaza.
