Sandra G. Martinez, 54, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2018. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 28, 1964 to her father and mother, Jesse and Eloisa Acosta. Sandra met her husband, James, in 1986. They were married for 31 years and had three children together. She always put everyone before herself, with a personality that you will always remember. She was a great daughter, wife that is loved dearly by her husband, and one of the best mothers we could have asked for. She enjoyed spending time around family and friends and will be missed dearly.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Eloisa Acosta.
She is survived by her husband, James Martinez; her daughters, Crystal, Amber, and Melissa Martinez; her father, Jesse Acosta; her sister, Eloisa; brothers Jesse and David Acosta; and her 5 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N. Main Ave. 78205, on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 9:30 AM for 10:00 AM Mass of Resurrection at St. James Catholic Church, 907 W. Theo Ave. 78225, with burial to follow at San Fernando III Cemetery.
