Thomas Broadus Freeman

Thomas Broadus Freeman, 68, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on February 21, 2025. He was born on April 28, 1956, in San Antonio to Bura Boykin Freeman and Florence Pauline Bailey, both of whom preceded him in death.

Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a dedicated member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization. He also cherished the camaraderie he found at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), where he spent time with his colleagues, sharing stories and memories.

Thomas is survived by numerous cousins who held a special place in his heart. His memory will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank the staff at Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center for the care and support they provided Thomas and our family.

A visitation for Thomas will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A chapel service will occur Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:35 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
