Trinidad F. Garcia

Trinidad F. Garcia, beloved husband, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at the age of 83. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to parents, Agapito and Cenobia Garcia, on January 14, 1929. He proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps as a Staff Sargeant and he was an active member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. Trinidad will always be remembered for the love and dedication he had for his family and he will be deeply missed. Trinidad was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Guadalupe Garcia, and his sister, Maria Garcia. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Olivia A. Garcia; siblings, Raquel, Antonia and Oralia; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N. Main, on Monday, October 29, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home the following morning, Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Basilica of the Little Flower, 824 Kentucky Avenue.
