Born on June 16, 1981, in San Antonio, TX, Vanessa lived a life full of love, resilience, and joy. She built a beautiful family.
She is survived by partner, Dorill Gregg and her children, Korinne Gill (husband Stacy Woodard) and Andres Gregg; her treasured grandchildren, Ziah and Zemira; her mother, Ramona Cantu; her sister, Valeria Cantu; her brother, Jose J. Cantu; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Cantu.
Family was the center of Vanessa’s world, and she took great pride in every milestone and memory shared with them. She will be remembered for her laughter, her singing, her love of music and her love for the Cowboys.
A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Roy Akers Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather in her honor.
