She is now at peace, reunited with her dear parents, Ethel and Carlton Moore, who welcomed her with open arms.
Verna's spirit continues to shine brightly through her beloved children: daughter Destiny Ali and sons Jibrib Ali Jr. and Ameer Ali, along with her cherished siblings James Moore, Freeman Moore, and April Delgado. Her legacy will also remain alive in the hearts of a large circle of extended family and friends who will forever hold her memory dear.
With a deep passion for movies, television, and documentaries, Verna brought joy to countless gatherings, filling them with laughter and warmth. Known affectionately as the "Spades Queen," she enchanted friends and family with her spirited gameplay. A dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys, her enthusiasm for the team was infectious, uniting everyone in moments of shared joy.
