Victoria S. Diaz, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, entered rest on September 17, 2010 at the age of 86. She was born to Fortunato and Francisca Saenz on July 28, 1924 in Kingsbury, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Ann Diaz; son Hector Diaz. She is survived by her loving husband, Flavio Diaz; their children: Yolanda D. and Arnoldo C. Martinez, Gilberto and Nomi G. Diaz, Robert S. and Juanita C. Diaz, Hilda Lawson, Richard S. and Alice Diaz, Ruben S. Diaz; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She will be remembered by family for her gift of baking and will be dearly missed. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers for an Evening Service at 7:00 p.m.. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2010 for a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Service at Primera Iglesia del Nazareno, 3123 Perez (78207).
