Virginia M Guerra

Born on January 14, 1942, Virginia lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family. She was known for her generous heart, sharp wit, and joyful spirit that could brighten any room.

Virginia is survived by her loving daughter Sophia Guerra Ramos and her favorite son-in-law Raymond Ramos; her son Roland Guerra Jr.; and her sisters Naomi Morin and Leticia Peña. She was a proud grandmother to Sabra Soriano, Christian Escobedo, Aaron Escobedo, Angel Escobedo, and Ariane Flora, and a cherished great-grandmother to Reuben Eisley Escobedo and Wilder Sage Escobedo, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Samuel Mireles Morin and Irene Sanchez, as well as her siblings Samuel Morin, Rachel Morin, and Ernest Davila.

Virginia enjoyed life’s simple pleasures — working on Sudoku puzzles, thrifting and shopping for hidden treasures, reading a good book, listening to music, and collecting photographs that told the story of her family and friends. She also loved her visits to Kickapoo, where she found fun and excitement.

Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held on November 9, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, located at 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205.

A memorial service will take place on the same day, November 9, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the same location.
