In his free time, Gregorio found joy in listening to oldies music while savoring a warm cup of coffee. A skilled craftsman, he took great pride in building and tinkering with projects, always creating with care and precision.
His yard was always immaculately kept, a reflection of the same attention he gave to his spotless cars. A true car enthusiast, Gregorio loved admiring classic vehicles and sharing stories about them.
But above all, his greatest joy came from spending time with his loved ones. He cherished his family deeply and found purpose in caring for them and providing with unwavering love and devotion.
He will forever be missed but will remain in the hearts of those he loved. He may be gone but will never be forgotten.
Gregorio is survived by his loving wife, Aracely Mares; his children, Marcus Mares, Marisa Trinidad Mares, Gregorio Mares III, and Steve Mares; his grandchildren, Allison Mares, Leena Aracely Norris, Carter Jay Garcia, Christopher Sanchez, and Gregorio Mares IV; his sisters, Yolanda Mares and Nora Garcia (Mario).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio V. Mares Sr. and Ernestina Mares; his brother, George Harvey Mares.
