Herminia R Gutierrez

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Herminia Ramos Gutierrez, commonly known as “Minnie.” She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother. At the age of 72, she was called home to the Lord on February 2, 2025, in her home surrounded by family. She was born in Brownsville, Texas, on July 25, 1952. Herminia lived a life of faith, hope, and love and is forever remembered for her kind heart and beaming smile.

Anyone who knew Herminia knew that she loved working on puzzles, playing Loteria, spending time with her family, and, most importantly to her, engaging in prayer. There was nothing she cherished more than her family. To know her was to love her; her smile could brighten up an entire room. The world feels a little less bright without the radiant presence of Herminia. Her love was unconditional, her spirit unbreakable, and her legacy will continue to inspire us all. We will forever cherish the memories of her gentle touch and the warmth of her love.

Herminia is survived by her loving husband, Jose G. Gutierrez, of 52 years, her sister, Herlinda Lopez, and her brothers, Reynaldo Ramos, Conrado Saldivar, and Federico Ramos Jr.; her two sons, Jose G. Gutierrez Jr. (Millie-Jo Gonzalez Gutierrez) and Sergio Gutierrez; her grandchildren, Samantha Pacheco, Jordan Gutierrez, Shyanna Gutierrez, and Sergio Gutierrez Jr.; and four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuela Reyna Ramos and Federico Ramos, and her brothers, Manuel Ramos, Arturo Ramos, and Juan Ramos.

Visitation hours for Herminia will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta & Memorial Park followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, with the Burial following at 11:00 AM at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
